  1. Sum･It is an easy to use, goodlooking, lightweight spreadsheet.
  2. It is PowerPC native, has drag&drop support, contains
  3. ｱ80 functions and has balloon help.
  4. One major advantage of Sum･It compared to other spreadsheets
  5. is that it takes up very little memory when using small or
  6. avarage spreadsheets and it launches very fast.

  8. If this program appears to be successfull (if there are sufficient
  9. registered users to make it worthwhile) I will continue the development.
  10. I have some real cool ideas about what to add, and if you have too,

  15. Sum･It is shareware. If you use it, you should pay for it.
  16. I gave up my job as a programmer to devote all my time and efforts
  17. in making Sum･It and other programs. I think about releasing all my
  18. future programs as shareware, but that depends on the success of
  19. this release.

  21. Pricing
  22. Sum･It costs USD 20 or USD 15 if you buy more than 10 copies. Site
  23. licenses are available for USD 500 and a world wide license will
  24. cost you USD 2000. A Site License covers all locations for your
  25. organization within a 160 kilometer radius of your site (100
  26. miles). One big advantage of a Site License is that you do not need
  27. to keep track of how many people at your site are using the
  28. software. A World-Wide License covers all locations for your
  29. organization on the planet earth.

  31. Paying for Sum･It is fairly simple. Open the Register program
  32. that accompanies Sum･It. Enter your name, your email address,
  33. and the number of single user licenses you desire for each program
  34. you wish to purchase (or Site or Word-Wide licenses). Save or Copy
  35. or Print the data from the Register program and send the data and
  36. payment to Kagi. More specifics on the Register program to follow.
  37. Kagi handles my payment processing.

  39. If paying with Credit Card or First Virtual, you can email or fax
  40. the data to Kagi. Their email address is sales@kagi.com and their
  41. fax number is +1 510 652-6589. You can either Copy the data from
  42. Register and paste into the body of an email message or you can
  43. Save the
  44. data to a file and you can attach that file to an email message.
  45. There is no need to compress the data file, it's already pretty
  46. small. If you have a fax modem, just Print the data to the Kagi
  47. fax number.

  49. Payments sent via email are processed within 3 to 4 days. You will
  50. receive an email acknowledgement when it is processed. Payments
  51. sent via fax take up to 10 days and if you provide a correct
  52. internet email address you will receive an email acknowledgement.

  54. If you are paying with Cash or USD Check you should print the data
  55. using the Register application and send it to the address shown on
  56. the form, which is:

  63. You can pay with a wide variety of cash from different countries
  64. but at present if you pay via check, it must be a check drawn in
  65. US Dollars. Kagi cannot accept checks in other currencies, the
  66. conversion rate for non-USD checks is around USD 15 per check and
  67. that is just not practical.
  68. If you have a purchasing department, you can enter all the data
  69. into the Register program and then select Invoice as your payment
  70. method. Print three copies of the form and send it to your
  71. accounts payable people. You might want to highlight the line that
  72. mentions that they must include a copy of the form with their
  73. payment.
  74. Kagi can not invoice your company, you need to act on my behalf
  75. and generate the invoice and handle all the paperwork on your end.

  77. Please do not fax or email payment forms that indicate Cash, Check
  78. or Invoice as the payment method. As far as we know, there is
  79. still no technology to transfer physical objects via fax or email
  80. and without the payment, the form cannot be processed.
  81. Payments send via postal mail take time to reach Kagi and then up
  82. to 10 days for processing. Again, if you include a correct email
  83. address, you will hear from Kagi when the form is processed.
